Ok, here it goes.
I get kind of sick of people looking down on me for getting married and having a baby young. I'm in my "early twenties" we'll say, I got a lot of life left, I get it. Scientifically speaking, however, women's bodies are manufactured to deliver the healthiest babies at my age, not in their 30's as some seem believe. As a pregnant woman I enjoyed great health, low blood pressure, in addition to low blood sugar. Two moms I met in my mom's group, each who had kids near 40, experienced gestational diabetes. Why does that happen? Because you're OLD!!
People who marry young may do so too quickly without really knowing the person, which I could see. But does everyone do that? No. I marvel every day at how wonderful a husband I picked for myself at 19.
I found me a winner at 18Not everyone uses college to party, some actually have significant life experiences (in addition to getting married, of course). If we require our youth to be responsible citizens, then they will make responsible decisions.Ok, I am finished now :)
