Now I am beginning my second time around the baby "block", I am oh so pleasantly surprised to be learning some new things:
1. You get a tummy faster... Yay. Before I wanted to wear maternity clothes, now I'm in denial
2. Each pregnancy is not always the same. With Nikko I felt awesome, this time I feel cruddy
3. New cravings!! Forget the sodium of yester-year, bring on the sweets. And hold everything else, seriously. I mean everything. Apparently I'll be birthing a future diabetic
4. The time is passing quite a bit quicker, which is nice but scary! With Nikko I could tell you at an given moment how many weeks and days I was at, now I'll give you a ballpark
5. Having another child means pushing through the fatigue and nausea, because heck, you've got another job to do, and now! Just try not to gag cooking food for the baby.
6. I feel more ready emotionally. It wasn't that I did realize what having a baby would entail, but you more fully comprehend the responsibility of a new entire person in your world.
I've been really enjoying Nikko a lot lately despite some of the ickiness, as he has become a very funny toddler. He makes funny faces, worships the Backyardigans, and chats with me all day long. He makes me smile even on rougher days.

Prego again!? SOOO jealous, I haven't even gotten to have one yet :( Trying but the magic just ain't happening! I'm VERY happy for you thou =D And glad to hear Nikko's turning into even MORE of a sweetie pie (as if that was possible!).

I've heard that the pregnancy goes by much faster the second time around. Nikko is so cute. It was fun to hear his animal noises yesterday! What a smart little boy. I read somewhere that boys get their intelligence from their mothers...good job Paige. :)
I didn't believe it at first, but than I read it about a million times and than asked and I guess its true!!!

So you really are pregnant huh? Alright missy I cannot believe that I found out through your BLOG that you are pregnant again. I mean, that is BIG news and I thought I was important enough to get a phone call about that. That is almost as bad as breaking up with a boyfriend through a text message ha ha. We are fighting:)
Anyways, I AM really happy for you guys! Look at your cute litle family just growing! I can't wait to find out what you are having and meet the new little one. Yay for Mamma Paige.
p.s. I can't wait to see you! I am really excited and definately looking forward to it!! I'm glad you were able to make it for Thursday night.

I loved your comments. Sounds so similar to my second pregnancy now. Total sweet tooth, better understanding of what to expect, etc. Hey, have you seen these shows on PBS: Word world and super why!? They are great educational tools for the alphabet. Those, and baby einstein (yep, he still loves 'em), are the only shows Lincoln will watch. Everything else, even Disney movies, don't keep his attention.

Paige! Congratulations! What a pleasant surprise for you both :) If you haven't already heard it, there is a song called "Capri" by Colbie Caillat about a pregnant woman. It's gorgeous and I think you'll like it, too! Hope all is well on your end :)
