Good Friends

Lately I've reflected on how truly blessed I am to have had such wonderful friends. I began thinking on this subject while I visited with a dear friend, Dyan, two weeks ago.

(don't be mad I posted this!!)

I haven't always been lucky enough to have really good friends. It takes time to form strong bonds and memories, and that wasn't something I had while we moved so often. I have been so glad to have made such fantastic friends, and have really been grateful for new friends in a new place that have helped me to feel comfortable and loved.

I haven't been much of a girl's girl, but I have grown to love having girlfriends! I have learned so much from all of you. {If I made of all of you I might get carpel tunnel :)} I truly appreciate being around such wonderful examples of kindness, love, honesty, generosity, and most of all fun.

You all inspire me to be better and kinder. I am so lucky to have you all!!!

The Never-Ending Easter Story

A week long of celebrating...

Happy Easter, friends!

What Happens at Grandma's...

Everyone knows that a trip to Grandma's house means a free pass to do whatever you want, whenever you want, only a kiss required.

We arrived, unpacked our things, and the week of non-stop fun (and slight anarchy) ensued, which entailed:

Peeing in bushes

Riding on suitcases

underage driving

making a mess of hard-boiled eggs

working with dangerous tools while under the influence of sugar

spending long late nights out with lady friends

sitting on tables

and excessive amounts of crackers, cookies, and all things delicious around the clock

Likewise Mom took a break: from disciplining, too early of mornings, making meals, and cleaning.

I don't know who had more fun ;)
