Its Good to Be Me

It seems like too many days I have the icky feeling of inadequacy or discouragement, but today is a different day. I feel good, really good. Why not revel in it, right?
It is good to be me today.
Maybe its because its Mommy's Day and I was spoiled by my husband who made the BEST steak for dinner
OR
maybe because my baby boy #2 spent a good portion of the day wiggling and kicking my insides
OR
maybe its because Nicholas patted my belly and said "brother"
OR
maybe its because I don't have acid reflux (YUCK) for the first time in weeks
OR
maybe its because I felt useful, welcomed, and needed at church
Who knows?
I'm just happy and I like it :)

Biker Dudes and Big Babies Part 2

Our boy is turning into a real man's man. He is totally crazy over motorcycles, tools, the outdoors and getting dirty. Grandpa will rev the engine on the bike, Nicholas' absolute favorite. He literally wakes up making revving noises.

In other news, at our baby appointment I measured big (surprise, surprise). Due to unusual circumstances, we don't have a really clear picture of our baby's due date, but this new measurement could mean he is really due more toward the beginning of august, which is awesome. I do feel quite a bit bigger in the belly, and he has been very active for a while too, making us think he's about two weeks ahead of schedule. But who knows! At least this has got my doctor listening to me about inductions if he looks big later on.

Mimi Madness

Nikko was spoiled this week by his new favorite person, Mimi (my mom) We spent the week she had here shopping, going to the park, eating out lots, reading books incessantly, and more shopping!
Ok, maybe his mommy was spoiled a bit too :)
We had so much fun, we hope she will visit again!!

Home Sweet Home

Well peeps it looks like we will be making the big move this summer, practially cross-country, to ARIZONA!

Our feelings?

Excited- maybe we can have friends now!

Nervous- what do you do with "friends"? I can't remember

Hungry- (they have a Costa Vida in Mesa... HALLELUJAH!)

Sweaty, preemptive of the sweat I'll be producing daily

An additional part of the anxiety has to do with BB(Baby boy)#2. When is he coming? Who knows really. Our best estimate is sometime between August 8-23. Jared's school starts the 15th (can you say bad timing?), so he'll probably leave me behind until I can manage the flight with two lap children. Hey, 1 ticket for 3 people is a pretty awesome deal.
